Christie Mountain,
Rusk County’s own ski hill, features a full range of
activities, including snowshoeing, snow tubing, and
snowboarding. Snowshoers and snowboarders of all levels
will find trails to suit their abilities. The scenery at
Christie Mountain, northwest of Bruce, Wisconsin, is

The Greenwood Park Trail provides snowshoeing
opportunities—it’s a great place for beginner snowshoers to
get a feel for this winter sport. This trail is near the
Ladysmith High School on the east side of the city off U.S.
Highway 8.
The
Sisters’ Farm Trail provides 12 kilometers of
groomed trails along the Flambeau River. Enjoy wonderful
scenery along one of Wisconsin’s most famous riverways on
some truly excellent snowshoeing trails. Sisters’ Farm
Trail is located to the southwest outside the Ladysmith city
limits.

taste for wilderness adventure, the vast tracts of County
