Rusk County has a full-time opening for the combined position of Emergency Management Director/Ambulance Director.  This position is responsible to design, implement, and coordinate an ongoing emergency management program as well as an ongoing ambulance management program pursuant to applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations, including equipment and personnel.

 

Salary: $31,684.25

 

Benefits:  Health insurance, Wisconsin retirement fund, Vacation, Sick pay, Holiday pay.

 

Qualifications: Minimum requirements include, but are not limited to: Knowledge of government organizations, laws, rules and regulations, at  the State, Federal and Local levels, pertaining to ambulance, emergency management operations, and hazardous materials; Appropriate education and experience in fields related to planning, safety, hazardous materials or administration.  A complete job description and list of qualifications will be provided with application.
