PURPOSE

Our Rusk County Home Health Care Agency’s purpose is to provide quality services to the residents of Rusk County.  These services are available to persons of all age, race, color, creed, religion and income who meet the criteria for home care nursing.   Our home care staff provides care to individuals in their homes.  We are committed to working together to promote, maintain, and assist our patients to regain their independence.  In the event of serious or terminal illness, we provide supportive care and skilled nursing to allow our patient to remain at home with their family.

QUALITY STANDARDS

Our Rusk County Home Health Care Agency sees patients who are under the direct care of licensed physicians in Wisconsin and surrounding states.  Our agency staffs only licensed registered nurses and certified home health aides.  Inservices and educational opportunities are provided for all staff to assure excellent, up-to-date, qualified care.

All registered nurses and home health aides are certified in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in accordance with the American Heart Association.

REGISTERED NURSES

Our registered nurses are state licensed and provide skilled home care under the direction of the patient’s physician.  The frequency of these visits is determined by the physician and is based on patient needs.
