On this page you will find some of the County's
miscellaneous surplus items.
Please be sure to read all information on each item listed to ensure that you are fully aware of all pickup and payment requirements.

• Bids must be submitted by email only.  (Faxed and phone bids are not accepted)

• There is not a fee to register or to place a bid.

• The award of an item will go to the highest bidder.

• In the case of a tie bid, preference will be given to the bidder whose bid was received by  Rusk County on the earliest date and/or time.

• Bids received after the specified date and time, as indicated, will be rejected.

• All items being offered for sale are being SOLD AS IS, there is no warranty or guarantee.

• Bid items/descriptions will include a contact number to use for more info about item and auction

• All items have to be paid for and picked up on the dates indicated on the information sheet.  If items can not be paid for and picked up on the designated date, please do not bid on the item.

• Any bidder who is awarded an item and fails to pickup and pay for that item may be prohibited from participating in any future County on-line sale activities.

• The County reserves the right to make changes to items posted for sale, if deemed necessary, up to 24 hours prior to the posted bid closing time.  It is the responsibility of bidders to monitor the current bid price and amend their bids accordingly, if they so desire, before the posted closing time.

• The County reserves the right to reject all bids and cancel the offer to sell posted items at any time, if deemed necessary.

• The "current bid" will be updated to reflect the most recent bid as of that date and time.

• 5.5% Tax will be added to the winning bid price per state law.

How to Bid
Bids must be submitted by email only.  (Faxed or phoned bids are not accepted.)  Click "bid on this item" under the photo/description to submit an email bid.  All information must be filled in for bid to be accepted.

Method of Payment
The winning bidder will receive notification.  This notification must be presented to the cashier when paying.

Please pay for the merchandise at the Rusk County Treasurers Office, 311 Miner Ave., Ladysmith, WI  54848 on the day and time indicated on the auction site (unless item description indicates otherwise).

Payment must be made prior to merchandise pick-up.  Cash and checks may be used for payment.

Merchandise Pick-Up
Pick up location, date and times will be posted on the information sheet.  Merchandise pick up will be on the scheduled time and date only.

A receipt showing that items have been paid for must be shown prior to release of merchandise.
