Deputy Dan T. Glaze, Jr. Memorial

Sunday, 10/29/2017

October 29th, 2017 marked the one-year anniversary of Deputy Dan T. Glaze’s line-of-duty death. A memorial ceremony was held at the Rusk County  Law Enforcement Center at 4:00 PM that afternoon to present a bench in his honor.

The Rusk County Honor Guard presented the flags and unveiled the bench while Sheriff Jeff Wallace, Chief Deputy Phil Grassman, Chaplain Craig Voldberg and Dan’s wife Sarah Glaze all spoke about honoring and remembering Deputy Dan Glaze.

Everyone can vividly remember where they were one year ago. It was a day that no one will ever forget, just as we will never forget Dan, his family or their sacrifice. We lost a friend, an officer, a brother. Dan will forever be in our hearts.
