The Rusk County Clerk Office is an agent for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in processing boat, snowmobile and ATV and/or UTV registrations.
Where to Apply:
In the Rusk County Clerk Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The office is located in the:
Rusk County Courthouse 311 E. Miner Ave, Suite C150 Ladysmith, WI 54848
Documentation Needed:
- One or more of the following to search/create records by name: customer ID number, driver’s license # or social security number.
- Date of birth
- Weight and width of you ATV or UTV
- Renewal form if received from DNR
- Vehicle registration number or serial/hull identification number of the boat, snowmobile or ATV – UTV
- Name of who sold you the vehicle
- Boats 16” and OVER
- Manufacturer Statement of Origin – For boats not previously registered
- Wisconsin Title – signed by owners and any lien releases included
- Out-of-state Title – signed by owners and any lien releases included
